Dead or Alive (Japanese: デッドオアアライブ Hepburn: Deddo oa Araibu) is a video game series produced by Tecmo and developed by Team Ninja that is primarily composed of fast-paced 3D fighting games. Its story and characters are the creation of Tomonobu Itagaki, who has since left the company and is no longer working on the series.

In addition to its innovative countering system, the franchise is arguably as well known for its cast of busty female characters and the animation of their breasts. This aspect of the game's popularity led to the creation of the spin-off game Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball and its sequels, where the women and their sex appeal play a more focal role than it does in the core Dead or Alive series.

Description

Brigandine is a tactical role-playing game for the PlayStation video game console, created by developer Hearty Robin and released in 1998. An American port, called Brigandine: The Legend of Forsena, was released in the same year by Atlus. In 2000, Hearty Robin released a remake of the game called Brigandine: Grand Edition, which included multiplayer support, along other new features. In the game, the player chooses one of the nations of the fictional continent of Forsena, and has the goal of conquering the other nations by taking their castles, using troops composed by human commanders and fictional creatures. Although primarily a turn-based strategy game, the game includes some characteristics of tactical role-playing games.

In the role of Lieutenant Ellen Ripley, the player experiences a story loosely derived from the first three films of the Alien franchise. Ace Combat 2's gameplay is very similar to that of its predecessor Air Combat; its main differences are considerably improved graphics and features on both the aircraft and the environment (aircraft display moving flaps, air-brakes, and afterburner effects).

Players fly and destroy various targets to earn money for their air force, which can be used to unlock new aircraft. As more aircraft are unlocked, the player also rises in rank.
